YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat

This has been my foundation of choice for the last twelve months or so now, so I thought it was about time to give it the product rave it deserves. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat *may* have possibly reached holy grail status for me. It gives a light to medium coverage and gives skin a beautiful luminosity. I always feel at my best when I'm wearing this foundation, it makes my skin look healthy, fresh and glowing but without making me look shiny or greasy.

I wear the shade Beige Rose 30 (I'm NW15 in Mac) and in terms of consistency it is much thinner than any of the other foundations I've used, I tend to only use one pump but you could definitely use two if you wanted more coverage. Its very buildable and blends like a dream as its so light.
I have normal skin I would say, so maybe this foundation wouldn't work as well with more oily skin types. It isn't particularly long lasting for me but I dont mind that. A primer/setting powder would probably help it last a little longer but I dont tend to bother.

I'd be interested to see how this compares to Nars Sheer Glow (which I haven't used since I had oily skin many moons ago) Maybe I will try that next but I love this foundation so much it will take some beating. Whenever I war a different foundation I always feel like my skin just doesn't look as nice as it would if I was wearing the Teint Touche Eclat.

This is my second bottle which is nearly empty, I need to decide whether to repurchase another bottle or give Nars Sheer Glow a whirl. What do you think I should do?

  3. Pretty lady!

I'm on the lookout for a really food foundation but am failing so far! I was terribly disappointed with the really poor service at the MAC counter in Manchester's Trafford Centre! They were so disinterested in helping me find my perfect shade! The hunt continues!

    Hope you are well!

  5. I can't even stress how much I've been lusting over this foundation for the past few months! It's quite pricey so I think I'll still have to hold off for a while but hearing how much you love it is encouraging!
