Autumn days when the grass is jewelled

Autumn really is my favourite season. Bright crisp days, the leaves changing colour, and the crunch of them under your feet. You really can't beat it in my eyes. I had a play with my new lens on Sunday and these photos were the result. After plenty of research into which lens I should add to my kit next, I decided on the Tamron 70-300m telephoto lens. I'm really impressed with it and it allows you to get incredible depth of field (main subject in focus and the background blurry) I got mine from Amazon and I'd really recommend it, it's really affordable and easy to use.

I really hope some of you get today's title reference?  If not it was a hymn we used to sing in assembly at primary school when I was little. It was one of my absolute favourites, and I always feel happy when I remember it. Please tell me at least one of you know's what I'm talking about haha? If you do, go wild and have a sing along below :)

  2. OMG. We used to sing that in Assembly in primary school. I remember there was this one line, 'And a win for my home team' that all the boys in my class used to shout out really loudly and get in trouble with the teachers! Haha.

Gorgeous photography, by the way, You have captured the colours of Autumn beautifully.

  8. Ahhh I started singing the hymn as soon as I read your post title! Was one of my absolute favourites. I'm liking the fresh Autumn air but not so much the wet leaves on pavements - obstacle course when I'm going on a run! x
