Asos Leather and Leopard Print Satchel

One for the leather and leopard print lovers. After seeing this bag from Asos on Mariannan's blog I lusted after it for ages, but I just could not part with the £80 price tag. However after it came down in price in the sale I treated myself to it. It's a lovely satchel, very roomy and functional and looks pretty too. Unfortunately it's no longer on the Asos website but you may be able to find one on ebay. In hindsight I think I would have been a little disappointed if I had paid full price, but its definitely worth it at the the sale price. I've used it most days since I got it, and as always it satisfies my inner Bette Lynch. You know what I mean :)

J Crew "Hello World"

I've always admired J Crew from afar, seeing many of my favourite US based bloggers and vloggers wear their pieces and always wanted to give them a whirl. So when I was offered the chance to work in partnership with J Crew on their "Hello World" campaign I jumped at the chance. The new Summer campaign luckily gives the rest of us outside of North America the chance to become a J Crew Insider - giving you benefits such as free shipping from now until the end of the year, VIP access to J Crew's team of personal stylists and Duty Free Shopping from now until 31st August.

I absolutely love the bits I chose, the neon choral satchel is amazing, its such a lovely soft leather, and the strap detached so you can use it as a clutch too. I wish the miserable UK weather would brighten up so I can pair it with pretty sun dresses. The bracelet is absolutely gorgeous, it looks really elegant on and adds the finishing touch to an outfit. You can head over and sign up to be a J Crew Insider over on their microsite here.

Office Nighthawk Boots

I solemnly swear this will be the last blogpost about black ankle boots you will see on my blog for a while. The reason? I have found the perfect pair. Let me introduce you to the Office Nighthawk boots.

Of all the black ankle boots I own (and if you know me you will know I own alot) these take the crown.

I've wanted them for a long time. I'm talking over 2 years. You only have to ask Laura and she will corroborate this statement. Inspired by the Chloe 'Susanna' boots, they instantly sold out, going on ebay for insane amounts, it seemed an impossible task. This coupled with the fact I refused to order them online as I'm funny with sizing made my chances of ever owning them bleak.

I got paid this week, my first "proper" wage for a looonnngggg time and me and the boy hotfooted it to the Trafford Centre for a little bit of a browse and to hibernate from the horrendous weather we're currently having in England.

As I casually walked into Office there they were, winking at me from their stand.

Que an internal struggle.
"Should I try them on? It would be foolish not to. But I can't justify it with all the black boots I already own. But they're soooooo perfect."

Needless to say I tried them on. It was all over from that point. I figured if I couldn't treat myself to a pair of shoes on my first payday then it's a sad day for both me and black ankle boots. I have worn them every opportunity I've had. They are the perfect fit, they look beyond amazing on, they are super comfortable, they smell gorgeous, they are quite honestly the most amazing pair of boots I have ever owned, and to be totally honest, I don't see anything ever beating them.

I can't tell you how many compliments I have already had about them, my Dad's first words were "Those are awesome." Mummy said "WOW" The boy said "You have to get them they are amazing" A definite crowd pleaser wouldn't you say?

I can not recommend these boots enough. Seriously, if you are looking for some new boots this Autumn/Winter make it these ones. I promise you now you will not regret it.

Ladies Night

This weekend, before I became struck down with the worst case of sinusitis known to man, I went to a ladies night with my boyfriend and family. It was a fancy occasion, all the gents were dressed in dicky bows so I needed to wear something that was simple but still smart. I went with my graduation dress, which I coincidently havn't worn since my graduation. You see this is an extremely special dress to me, therefore it only comes out on very rare occasions, where nothing else will do. Ladies night was one of those occasions. I tried on a few different outfits but this one was the Goldilocks dress. A simple wrap dress from Whistles, its extremely flattering and comfortable to wear. I paired it with one of my favourite pairs of shoes from Dune and a simple black bag from Topshop (not pictured) Although I had to leave early as I progressively became more and more unwell as the night went on I still had a really lovely time.

Coming up next, a blogpost about another pair of black boots (can you ever forgive me?) If you follow me on Twitter you'll know the score ;)

An exchange.

Remember I posted about the Amelie Boots? Well I ended up exchanging them for these. You'll remember in that post I mentioned I bought them because I couldn't find any FLAT black ankle boots. Well a couple of days later I waltzed into Topshop and saw these. The Amplify boots. Can you say Sods Law? Cutting a long story short, I swapped them the same day. I've already done the "can I wear them all day" test and they passed with flying colours. Next on my list the Office NightHawks, or maybe the Jeffrey Campbell Gene boots, but I think they'll have to wait for a while now. Stay tuned ;)

Models Own Indian Ocean

What a gorgeous nail polish. A light ethereal blue with a pink iridescent running through it, as Milly so perfectly described it, it's reminiscent of a mermaids tail. I layered it over the top of Essie Fiji (more on that later) which worked well. It's so pretty when it catches the light, guaranteed to brings happy smiles all round when you catch a glimpse of your nails on a dull Thursday afternoon in the office.

The Pink Miss Selfridge Biker Jacket.

After searching for months (and I mean months) for my idea of the perfect black biker jacket I stumbled across this beauty in Miss Selfridge. Although it wasn't black I fell in love with it instantly, its the exact style I was looking for, was reasonably priced and such a great fit. It goes with everything, and as opposed to its tougher big brother the black version, its the more demure smaller sister, pretty and feminine. It has quilted detail in all the right places, on the shoulders and side panels, not too much and not too little. I must confess I've had it for about 2 months and worn it most days. I even went back a few weeks later and bought it in black I love is so much. You can get your hands on one here
