Hello all *waves*

Well have I had a busy couple of weeks. I started a new job which is going well, I went to see Coldplay at the Stadium of Light which was amazing, had girly drinks and a sleep over at one of my wonderful friend's house and all in all I've been a very busy bee. I thought today I would share a quick outfit post with you all. Today I went to see the Olympic Torch Relay, which I wasn't that bothered about but went to see it anyway because I probably won't ever get another chance to see it in my lifetime. Hope you're all having a good Sunday! x

The Diamond Jubilee

This week saw the UK come together to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. It was a fantastic 4 day weekend to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II being on the throne for 60 years. I for one think it's a great thing, and I personally think its nice that we still have a monarchy. What's even better was seeing so many people coming together in the UK to unite in the celebrations. Whether you're a fan of the royal's or not, I hope you enjoyed the long weekend :) God save the Queen!

Thank you to Asda for my lovely dress and jubilee goodies!

Topshop Amelie Boots

Another blogpost another pair of black ankle boots. You know me by now guys. Let me introduce you to  the Topshop Amelie boots. I bought these on a whim a few weeks ago after searching tirelessly for some flat black ankle boots and failing. I saw these in Topshop and even though they aren't suitable for the current season they will be fabulous come autumn. I'm a sucker for black mid height ankle boots and studding, so these are a wonderful addition to my black boot collection. Last but not least their namesake is one of my all time favourite films, whats not to love?

My favourite nail combo

This is possibly my favourite nail combo. Ever. Its a simple combo but one I go back to time and time again.

I use my favourite nails, the Nailene 200 Full Cover Active Square Nails which I've loved ever since Milly first introduced me to them. I also use the Elegant Touch Brush on Nail Glue. This makes it so much easier and involves absolutely no faffing around and getting nail glue all over your fingers. I trim the nails slightly, as I don't like them too long and then just neatly file them. The nail polishes of choice are Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream, and Orly Tiara; a very pretty sparkly silver glitter. Usually 2 coats of each is enough.

I usually get the nails on eBay as they work out a little bit cheaper (although the glue is usually dried out, this doesn't matter though as I don't use it), the brush on glue from my local supermarket and the nail polishes from Boots.

What is your favourite nail combo?
