Monday Summary

Another week, another Monday Summary. Firstly todays outfit photos and some photos collected from the past week.

I went to Manchester on Thursday to meet my wonderful friends Gemma and Nicola. So much love for those girls. We put the world to rights over lunch for a few hours then headed to the DermaQuest Skincare Launch. After that being the rebels that we are we got turfed out of Wetherspoons because one of us didn't have our ID - and wait for it, wanted an apple juice. Unbelievable right? Not impressed with you Wetherspoons!

I also lost 3lbs this week at Slimming World, and really do feel myself getting back to the old me! I've also been running too and will upload my training schedule in the next couple of days for those of you who are interested. Today I ran my first full mile without stopping. It may not sound like much but for me this was a really big achievement and I'm really proud of myself.

I'm also well on track for my book a week for a year challenge! I've read two books this week; One Day and also Who Moved my Cheese? I will be uploading reviews for them this week too.

Here's to another fab week!

  15. Just weighing in to defend Wetherspoons (I work for them). We're not allowed to serve anyone under 18, regardless of what they order, unless they're accompanied by a 'responsible adult'. Different pubs are varying levels of strict about that. This means we're also not allowed to serve someone who can't provide ID. After 9pm, there are no under 18s (or people without ID) allowed in the pub at all, because of our licensing. If we're caught doing otherwise, we'd be fined, probably fired, and the pub itself risks closure. It's not Spoons, it's the license!
