Kissable Lips with Nivea Hydro Care

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get sent the latest lip care offering from Nivea to make sure that my lips are in top condition for some smooching on Valentines Day. Nivea Hydro Care is the first lip care product to use Aquaspheres which absorb into the lips quickly and provide long lasting moisture. Here's what Nivea say about it:

"Enriched with Pure Water to hydrate and Aloe Vera which soothes; this wonder product leaves lips moisturised to the max!
Water constantly evaporates out of the lips and can leave them dry and chapped.  NEW NIVEA Hydro Care provides an occlusive lipid film that helps the moisture remain in the skin of the lips.  HOWEVER unlike other brands on the market this is not simply a barrier that sits on the lips and doesn’t moisturise BUT offers intensive moisture and hydration deep within the lips tissue.  The occlusive action of Hydro Care leads to a reduction of water loss keeping lips hydrated for longer."

I can confirm that this lip balm is lovely and moisturising, and has been in my handbag since I got it. Its also really affordable at around £2 depending on where you buy it. My lips are nice and soft and all ready for a cheeky Valentines kiss. You all know I have a bit of a thing for Mr Depp, but after watching Burlesque the other day I have to say I wouldn't say no to a Valentines snog with Cam Gigandet as he is in Burlesque. He is just too hot for words. Seriously.

Who would you have a Valentines Kiss with if you had the chance? Answers on a postcard, or the comments box will do just fine :)

*This post was sponsered by Nivea and I was sent the Hydro Care Lip Balm for Review Purposes.

  1. This sounds good! How much is this? I would love a valentines Kiss from Patrick Dempsey! x

  2. Words can't describe how much I LOVE the song you've chosen for this post :) The lip balm sounds good to me; I'll probably end up buying it! (I'm too suggestible for my own good).
Without a doubt, I'd choose George Craig from One Night Only ♥ x

  3. How does it compare with other lip balms and moisturisers you've tried? I use Burt's Bees but need some back ups. But I also don't want to cheat on Burt if the Nivea isn't as good. Thanks for the overview! :)

  4. Sounds interesting! But I still have to discover what makes my lips react, because so far, only organic or natural lipbalms do the trick...
