So here's the blurb from Nivea:
"With 95% of the ingredients of natural origin, new NIVEA Pure & Natural Face, Body and Hand Care has been developed by NIVEA scientists to deliver incredible results, with natural ingredients, in affordable products. Free from Parabens, Silicones, Colourants and Mineral Oils."
So here are the bits and bobs I was sent to try out.
First of all, I have to be completely honest in that I didn't really like the face creams. I did try both the Day and the Night cream but they just weren't suited for my skin type.
Next up is the Milk and Honey lip balm. If you're a fan of Milk and Honey then you will love this lip balm. It basically does what it says on the tin and leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturised, thanks to the organic shea butter and natural jojoba oil in the ingredients.
I think that the hand cream is quite thick in formulation, and I would say its quite rich and heavy for a hand cream. The only downside is that it does take a while to sink into my hands, however my hands are very rarely dry. If you do suffer from dry and thirsty hands this will be brilliant for you. I also really like the scent of this hand cream, its really light and fresh.
The same goes for the Body Lotion, it has a wonderful fresh scent. This is probably my favourite product of the lot. Its definitely thinner in terms of consistency, but still contains the natural Argan Oil to moisturise. What I like about this body cream is that it sinks into the skin relatively quickly and doesn't leave me feeling greasy. I could definitely apply this after a nice hot shower in the morning and get dressed straight away without worrying about feeling like I'm covered in a film of moisturiser (Body Butters I'm looking at you.)
For me the lip and body products in this range are the ones I'd recommend giving a whirl, if like me you have temperamental skin, I would probably give the face products a miss.
The range is available form the 20th February 2011 and stockists can be found on the Nivea website.
Do you prefer products that contain more natural ingredients? Or like me do you not mind either way?
