So you may remember a while ago I mentioned an amazing hair product I recently discovered that I was loving using. Well there is a story behind this discovery. On my shopping trip with Gemma and Nicola, I was having a bit of a whinge about my hair being flat. Cue Gemma. She whipped out the Backcomb in a Bottle and started doing a live demonstration on me in the Trafford Centre, after a quick spritz and some teasing with her fingers my lacklustre locks were transformed into volumised bedhead hair!
I've heard mixed reviews on this product, but I personally absolutely love it. Its basically like hairspray but better. I've also heard that this product is like gold dust to get hold of. I can confirm that this is true as Nicola and I managed to grab the last two bottles available in the huge Boots in the Trafford Centre! I basically use it by sectioning the areas of my hair where I want to achieve volume, usually 2 sections on each side of my parting, spray the product, then rub into my hair to texturise the area. I then "jujj" my hair a little bit with my fingers and voila thats it, easy as that! Granted it doesn't stay like this all day and requires some primping throughout the day, but unless you actually want to backcomb your hair, I don't think any product will keep it there all day.
This is my hair before, limp and lifeless
And here it as after using the Backcomb in a Bottle
One of the main reasons I love this product is because I dont have to backcomb my hair whatsoever, something which I completely avoid unless absolutely necessary. My hair is only just getting something like after years of bleaching it within an inch of its life, and anything that gives me that voluminous and texturised finish with minimal damage scores highly in my book! I will most definitely be repurchasing this bad boy.
